If there was such a place, I imagine it to be a pure sprite of a place, with brooks and mountains and some really soft pillows.
Perfect Earth Tours may just have the ticket.
The untarnished alpine region of the Yukon territory in Canada boasts the only five star eco-sustainable resort and spa in North America.
A 90 minute seaplane ride from Whitehorse, Canada, puts you in a location that prides itself for being 100% self-sustaining. The resort offers local Alpine herb treatments at its spa, and all products are completely organic.
All bedding and linens are made from organic hemp, silk or cotton (so even monarchy will feel at home here, in the woods). The vehicles run on bio-diesel and there are no permanent structures on the ground (the resort is dismantled at the end of each season).
Grammy award winners come and play in intimate settings in your silken tents (past performers have included Norah Jones). Evenings usually play out over a campfire and there are personal butlers that wait on you (you poor thing).
Apart from these riches, there are activities that include hiking, hot air ballooning and kayaking. Plus the resident chef, Bryan Au, is noted for his raw organic spa cuisine. Only a limited number of guests are allowed at any given time (I believe it’s about 15-20 people maximum); so the setting is intimate and zen-like.
These digs do come at a price: around $6250 CAD per person per trip for three nights and four days. But isn’t Heaven worth it?
