Who hasn’t heard of the lovely Whitney Port of The Hills? Well, yours truly was invited to a neat party at the oh-so-chic Gansevoort Hotel in the Meat Packing District last Thursday evening. Although it was POURING cats and dogs, Whitney managed to arrive and look ever so fabulous, wearing a flapper-inspired light pink dress.
The event was thrown by Cindy Barshop of Completely Bare (hello? the best waxing salon on the planet?) in honor of their 10th Anniversary. Sooo…why was Whitney there? To see her boyfriend jammin’ with his band, of course. The Australian band Tamarama played some very cool, lively numbers and one of the stars in the band is Whit’s BF (Jay Lyon) and also a star in her new MTV show, The City.
