We’re all looking forward to that fresh, squeaky-clean laundry start of a New Year. Some of this year’s most anticipated launches include Lancome’s High Résolution Refill-3X, which is a serious antiwrinkle solution. It has triple anti-wrinkle power and refills your frown lines in just an hour. The three natural fillers used are collagen, hyaluronic acid and elastin. Retails for $75 here.
FRESH comes out with its Soy Face Cream in January. Priced at $42, it is a companion to the ever popular soy face cleanser. This Sephora exclusive has natural soy proteins that act as a protectant for your skin, restorative rose water, soothing cucumber extract, meadowfoam, and jojoba seed oils. Get yours here.
Also look for Yves- Rocher’s new organic line called Culture Bio, which hits the shelves in February. It is highly affordable ($14 for a cleanser) and has seven products in its first offering. www.yves-rocher.co.uk
Olay’s first foray into the professional world occurs this year with Professional Pro-X. These are doctor-strength skus that give you younger-looking skin in 28 days (that’s the number of days it takes your skin to completely exfoliate a layer and turn it around). The line includes a wrinkle smoothening cream, a discoloration fighting concentrate, a deep wrinkle treatment, an age repair lotion, an eye restoration complex, and a hydra firming cream. These goodies don’t hit the store shelves until February 2009. www.olayprofessional.com
Clinique’s popular Turnaround Cream now has a sister peel. The Radiance Peel Once-A-Week System will now make dermatologist visits a thing of the past! The low-level glycolic peel does its magic and unveils a smoother complexion and the calming cream reduces irritations. The way you use it? Apply a vial of the Radiance Peel to a cotton pad and gently swipe it over your face. You must follow the ritual with the Calming Cream, and then top it off with the moisturizer of your choice. Retails for $55 at www.clinique.com
Rodial launches its GLAMTOX peel in February. It retails for $110 and is a multifunctioning clay mask. It’s basically a moisturizer, mask and peel in one. It contains revolutionary ingredients such as LaraCare that firms and skin and repairs wrinkles, and Fruit Acids to even skintone.
Also debuting in February is Aveda’s Enbrightenment, a six unit brightening line. It includes a cleanser, ($35); a tonic ($50); a lotion ($51); cream ($55) and a facial mask ($45).
