Neulash: Eyelash Serum Review and Giveaway

by in Beauty Archives

If eyelashes are the hottest beauty feature of 2009 then I thank my mama that she gave me good ones. Yes I’ve been lucky enough to be blessed with long lashes, but even DNA needs some upkeep.

(After two weeks of using Neulash, my lashes were more hydrated, stronger and a teensy bit longer)

So when I got the Neulash Active Eyelash Technology to try, I was both skeptical (like Meg Ryan eyeing FOX Books with a cynical eye in You’ve Got Mail) and curious.

Neulash works on both lashes and brows. It’s a serum full of polypeptides and amino fatty acids. It also contains biotin (the same ingredient responsible for making your nails strong) and sodium Hyaluronate, a strong humectant. Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans provide hydration to the lashes by binding in moisture.

The result? Elastic, plumper and stronger lashes.  Neulash claims you’ll see results in four weeks. I noticed stronger lashes in two– my lashes didn’t fall out so much. But it was hard for me to notice “length” (obviously the serum didn’t make my lashes grow like Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors –and thank God!).

The serum is definitely pricey (at $150 a pop, how many of us can afford to splurge on this), BUT I will say that if you really want stronger, more conditioned lashes (your mascara will never really look “clumped” again because Neulash moisturizes and conditions the lashes), this is a great investment.

And we are giving away ONE new tube to a lucky reader. Leave a comment below to be considered. A winner will be picked in mid May, 2009.

I love to enhance my eyes with mascara so this will make that process just so much better! Thanks for the opportunity to enter.

I don’t like wearing a lot of eye makeup, especially mascara, as it irritates my eyes. I would love to be able to add some length & fullness to my eyelashes without makeup. Thanks!

OMG this sounds too good to be true! I have really sparse lashes (thanks Mom lol!) but always wore glasses and well, when you have glasses, thin lashes take a back seat :P , but before going to school I saved (and how!) and got my eyes lasered (that was such a hallelujah moment for me, could see without my glasses after 11 years, since I never could wear contacts, my eyes couldn’t stand contact lenses). So,that’s my life’s story and yeah, would love to be considered for the give-away :) Thanks!

oh my my..i desperately need this…when i was young…i used to have DRY FLAKY skin right under my eyelashes..and i was soooo irritated by the white flakes…that i used to scratch them off…and with them *sniff sniff* my lashes…i always feel like crying when i think about how stupid i was in the past :(

I am always the first to complain about why some guys are blessed with such thick luscious lashes while even the lashes of a vertically challenged individual such as myself don’t even get a break. I know that there’s been lash lengthening products available for a while, but who can afford to pay $100 for it? So, please give my friends’ ears a chance to rest and pick me!

  25. From Betty:

I would love to see the difference this might make with my light, thin lashes. Trying to find the right words here, but thickening lengthening mascara leaves me looking overly madeup. While this product is really expensive, maybe there will be less expensive choices in the future.

  26. From Sherry B.:

I already have quite long lashes, but I was very interested to learn that it can also be used to promote eyebrow growth. I have NO eyebrows at all, due to the fact that I used to shave them as a teenager because it was faster than plucking them. I apparently killed the roots from doing it so often; by the time I hit my twenties, my brow bones were bald as an egg! Ever since, I have had to rely on eyebrow pencils and run for cover, if anyone surprises me at home. I would like to be able to use brow powder, as it looks so much more natural than pencil, but I have no hairs for the powder to cling to. I look like an alien!

  28. From Joelle:

Ooooooooh, this sounds absolutely wonderful! I have struggled with my eyelashes for soo many years. While I still want to keep a “natural” look, I want certain parts of my face to stand out like, for example, my eyes. Through the years, I’ve been trying out all sorts of different mascaras.. different brands… and, up to today, I have not been super successful. There’s a few brands which have been excellent for me, making my lashes long and curvy. However, as they are naturally very, very thin and weak, it’s extremely hard to make them look the way I would want them to.

and today, unfortunately, my eyelashes still look terrible. :( They appear incredibly unhealthy, weak and lifeless. I would love to be able to try this out! As expensive as it is, it sounds like such a helpful product!

Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity! :D
