Good things really must come in small packages. We’re not talking about the proverbial diamond ring (let’s face it girls…we want rocks to be BIG and BLING, right?). We’re even not talking about cute dachsunds, gummi bears or iPod shuffles.
We’re analyzing our latest cute craze: the Snog Lipbalm, which is no bigger than the size of a quarter (Steve Jobs must have had some say in the size — we’re convinced).
As the entire world probably knows, a “Snog” means a “smooch” in UK speak. The cheeky tag line of the company, “Have you had a Snog today?” is super cutesy in and of itself, but the semi-racy anecdotes on the back of each package seal the deal. Here’s one from the back of the “Cheeky Mint” package:
“I was running early for an appointment and ducked into a pub on Oxford Street to pass the time. I had no idea what kind of establishment I was in.
