The Body Shop’s new collection mingles Miami’s sultry neon lights with South Beach’s soothing Listerine blue waters to produce a poolside-chic meteoric collection. Leading makeup artist and designer Chase Aston says, “This collection is truly great for all skin types. The sea was my inspiration!”
Take a look at these transformations using the collection:

To get this look, artist Chase used the new “Super Volume Mascara” in a shocking purple color which works beautifully on darker skin tones. “It makes the brown and blacks of the eyes really pop,” he says. Soft pink and violet eyeshadow grace the inner corner of the eyes. He used eyeliner for the lower lashes as well. The look is complete with a bronze lip & cheek stain and a sun-lipped coral lip gloss.
Chase also used a different set of colors for Desiree below:

Chase used black mascara and a violet eyepencil to bring out Desiree’s beautiful eyes. Blush was dusted on the apples of her cheeks to give her skin a beautiful summer glow. The lip & cheek stain give a soft matte look.
The highlights of the collection include:
- A terrific Hot Brights lip and cheek stain line that gives a subtle sheen and glow as you can see from the first model:
- A gorgeous blush palette that would put roses to shame (shown below is the Blush Trio in Warm Sunset)
- Bronzers that mingle copper and burnt sienna tones (shown below is Sundown Glow)
- Hot Brights Blush (I LOVE the cover that screams indie artiste)
- Hot Brights Eyeshadows (below is one of the palettes):
It also includes several lip color shades in:
- Bronze
- Clover Pink
- Magenta Glow
- Pink Ginger
- Dawn Fizz
- Berry Shimmer
Use the eyeshadow with the colorful eyeliner pencils to make the eyes pop, and you’ll be like Carrie Bradshaw who once said, “Bright Lights, Big City, here I come.”
