I have to say that this is one of my favorite summer fragrances because it’s so light, breezy and sweet with musk, sandalwood and vanilla. Fleur d’Amour by Sylvie Beljanski combines many of my favorite notes. Best of all, the perfume is phthalate free.
Top notes: sweet bargamot mixed with bourgeons de cassis.
Middle notes: lily of the valley, Moroccan jasmine, pink peony, and bulgarian rose.
Base notes: white amber mixed with modern musks, Australian sandalwood and a drop of vanilla from Madagascar.
The fragrance comes in a perfume, candle and soap.
It retails for $60 for a 50ml bottle and five dollars from the sale of each bottle is donated to cancer research.
I have to say that I wasn’t expecting a lot from the fragrance when I opened the bottle but the perfume really wowed me. It’s definitely noticeable (wear it to be sniffed at) but the notes are not too sweet or too sultry. The musk packs a punch (if you like musk and vanilla, you’re in luck) and it’s super foxy.
As in Pretty Woman foxy. And hey, the name Fleur d’Amour says it all.
