Gals, gather all your favorite Max Factor products soon because you won’t be seeing this brand much longer in the U.S. WWD is reporting that P&G will discontinue the U.S. distribution of the brand because the appeal has lost its lustre.

The good news is that P&G will put most of its resources into CoverGirl. Max Factor’s sales are $1 billion worldwide, and only 1.2 percent of its dollar share comes from the U.S. Max Factor has an impressive following in Japan.
Every cloud has a silver lining. If you can’t live without Max Factor, consider flying East. Way East.
