Revlon’s Runway Collection Acrylic Nails

by in Beauty Archives

Who knew Revlon makes such beautiful faux nails? I love the elegant silver tips and the length is actually pretty nice (still a bit too long for me) and they go on beautifully on your natural nails.

The model shown below are the Starlet Nails from the Revlon Runway Collection. The nails come in a neat box (24 nails in all, in 12 sizes that fit the length of your fingertips, from the pinky to the thumb.

I found this style to be an extremely party-friendly version of your sparkling mani. And the best part is that the nail length actually was perfectly manageable. All too often you get a box with a bunch of nails that are longer than the Nile — these are easily some of the friendliest sizes I’ve encountered (I have petite nails and I also play the piano — I can’t sport these Cruella de Ville length nails at all).

This collection is great because if you’re a French mani fan (and who isn’t), they are such a fun and elegant alternative to the traditional white tips. You’ll have to soak your hands in an acetone-based polish remover after the experience, no doubt (and I really hate that part — it’s worse than going to the dentist).

But the elegance of this collection is truly French chic. Get your fix before fall and remember that your nails are the only place it’s okay to wear white even AFTER Labor Day.

  1. From Harrie Horton-Barrett:

They don't look very good to be honest. When I used to buy false nails that you stick on yourself I used to push up the skin at the bottom of the nail so that when the nails were on it would settle and you couldn't see where they were stuck on. It also looks like you've put nails on that are perhaps a little to big for your own nail as they appear to overlap onto the skin surrounding your nail. Very nice design, though after yesterday I think I will stick with Acrylics :)
