The Mini Nail Lacquers from OPI, inspired by the movie Alice in Wonderland, arrived on my desk intact and pretty – like a Christmas ornament. All the four sparkly and shiny polishes made me gasp for breath: the colors in the box (Absolutely Alice, Off With Her Red!, Thanks so Muchness! and Mad as a Hatter) were pretty perfection – almost like sugar bon bons on top of a cake.
I’ve swatched two colors here and plenty of variations. Here’s the Absolutely Alice plain. It goes on very very sheer, almost like a nude or a Deborah Lippman Happy Birthday sparkle. You’ll need several coats of it to get it on this thick and shiny:
I also experimented doing a “French mani” look with tips using the Thanks so Muchness! It looks very Americana and so July 4th that I was tempted to eat apple pie after this!
This is the pure version of the hot sparkly Thanks so Muchness! which is actually my favorite shade. It’s a lustrous, satiny red and will pair well with any outfit:
I decided this was far too plain for my liking so I dressed it up with some 3D Nail Sticker Art by Kiss Nails, which are incredibly easy to use! Simply peel and stick! And they wear for a long time (like your Loubs) and add such a simple but elegant accent to your nails.
