I grew up on the ocean in a fairly big town in India called Chennai (now called Madras), so for as long as I can remember, I’ve loved the healing powers of the sea, its therapeutic sounds, and the fruits de la mer (the fruits of the sea).
A vegetarian by birth, I’ve tried and tested countless organic and natural products and have always been surprised at how many variations on the same natural theme there can be when it comes to organic/ natural products. And when I heard about Gabriel Organics, I was very intrigued.
The products use calming white seaweed, papaya, blue-green algae and rosehip seed oil and orange blossom to infuse skin with the most nourishing ingredients. The line has also bottled pure plant essences — and every item is 100% natural organic. Gabriel DeSantino, the man behind the line, was inspired by his grandmother making homeopathic treatments from the sea.
This line will launch at Whole Foods in the summer, and so far I’m loving their White Seaweed Calming Cleanser and Seaweed Nourishing Moisturizer that remind me of the therapeutical properties of the Greek isles, hammocks and languid, lazy days. The items don’t leave my skin greasy and they froth up beautifully, just like the Mediterranean on a rich, tropical day.

From Indira Gomez:
I have been using organic products for a while now. I buy from an online company, They are an online skin care company. I use the sensitive skin cleanser. Leaves my skin really clean and soft. Organic products are a little more expensive than the other line, but well worth it. I also like the fact that it is made in the USA.
