I hang around Whole Foods just about every weekend that I can get, and have seen so many FEED bags and marveled at the cause. Little did I know, while stepping out to an event at LORD & TAYLOR on Thursday evening, that the FEED bags would get infinitely more stylish and wearable, and the cause- extremely powerful.
FEED has a variety of bags devoted to several causes: Haiti, Feed 1, Feed5 Bear. You can view all these adorable goodies here.

But these stylish bags, privy to Lord & Taylor and an exclusive partnership between FEED and the store, were introduced to bloggers by Lauren Bush (CEO, Creative Director and Co-Founder of FEED Projects LLC) and Ellen Gustafson (co-Founder of FEED Projects).
The bags benefit malnourished children in GUATEMALA (which has the fourth highest rate of malnourished kids in the world). There are two sizes: the large stylish tote is $39 and the smaller wristlet is $19. The FEED 1 Guatemala Pouch for $19 (with $3.50 donated to UNICEF) and the FEED 3 Guatemala Bag ($31 with $10.50 donated to UNICEF to support nutrition programs to children) are brightly printed and handmade by NEST, which is a non profit organization that gives free reign to artists around the world to create incredible pieces.
These specific FEED bags were created using a fabric called IKAT, which make the bags not only durable but richly patterned. These bags provide vital nutrition to the children in these regions. What better way to sport such rich, stylish pieces yet do some great community service?
They are also on display on the window at Lord & Taylor, so shop in the store and online.
