The Lush Life Part 2 (Cleansers Galore)

The Lush Life Part 2 (Cleansers Galore)

Angels on Bare Skin is a freshly made cleanser for your face made with ground almonds, rose absolute oil and lavender. It’s my absolute favorite (resides in a recyclable LUSH tin can in my shower) and the rose and lavender oils make this fresh paste a great exfoliant.I’d recommend using this SPARINGLY for people who are prone to breakouts. The oils may not be good for your face. But on the other hand, if you have dry or mature skin, this is the cleanser for you.

Other goodies: the Shark Fin Soap Stack, hello? How Philippe Starck of LUSH.

Two Shower Gels you’d want to slather on your bagel, the Rub Rub Rub and Yummy Yummy Yummy (did they run out of words?):

My favorite soap of the season is a blend of spice and lather. Spice Curls is what you need to get now! (Posh is getting some, I’m sure).

Soapier’s sweet smell of success

Soapier’s sweet smell of success

Calling all bathing beauties: an amazing bath and body line from up-and-coming beauty company Soapier is gathering devotees faster than Paris Hilton makes headlines.

Its sumptuous range of soaps, body scrubs and lotions transported us from morning to night in a smoothed, soothed and deliciously scented state of bliss.

We tested a few of the glycerin-based Soaps by the Slice ($6), which produced luxurious foam that left our skin baby soft and moisturized all day. The mouth-watering collection includes decadent Lavished in Chocolate, spicey Pumpkin, and musky floral Arabian Nights.

We also loved the exfoliating Hawaiian Sugar Scrub ($25), made with natural cane sugar, sweet almond oil and organic castile soap, which buffed our bodies-right down to our feet and elbows-to perfection. The scrub is so gentle, you can even use it on your face. Its alpha-hydroxy acids naturally rub away dead skin cells for an even skin tone and glowing complexion.

Finally, we piled on the fabulous Chamomile & Lavender Luscious Body Lotion ($12). Made with goat’s milk and honey, rich in vitamins, minerals and natural proteins, the lotion has naturally occurring enzymes that are supposed improve the skin’s health and appearance.

All we can say is, this is the closest we’ve ever come to an out-of-body experience après-bath. (Are you listening, LUSH?)
